Every week from Thursday - Sunday, Cheers fires open the doors to the ‘Back Bar’

Thursdays are a changing night in the Back Bar, with ‘First Thursday’ - a night where local music students put on their very own gig, special drinks offers and a showcase of up and coming musical and DJ’ing talent.

The last Thursday of the month pays host to the ‘Back Bar Music Quiz’. For just £5 per team (up to 4 members), you can test your knowledge of music and music trivia to win the kitty. Encompassing the 60’s to the present day, a diverse team of up to 4 will provide the best opportunity to win.

When the students and quizzers aren’t taking over, Thursday in the Back Bar offers an open stage Acoustic Night, where anyone who can play or sing is invited to come along and show their ‘unplugged’ side.

Every Friday and Saturday a live band play at the Back Bar. All genres are covered and all styles catered for. Bands travel from all around the World to play at this famous venue. Check the Back Bar’s website for more information as to who’s playing.

Finally, Sunday nights at the Back Bar is the World famous Jam Night! Here, the cream of Weston’s talent are invited to Jam with the highly capable Back Bar House Band. A full PA, full band set-up means if you’re a Drummer, Guitarist or singer, then come on down. All equipment provided for you to get up and do what you do best.
